This post rang very close to home today! You know the part about staying. The part where you choose to STAY!
To live for another day, to embrace another moment if you choose to just stay.
I can only speak from experience, I choose to go to sleep it takes a while. It usually consists of a full blown mental debate between the positive and negative aspects of my mind, both fighting to outweigh each other.
Waking up the next day is the achievement many do not congratulate themselves for! To which I wish that you would. You achieved greatness and harnessed strength, even when it may not feel like it. Every step you take is a breakthrough no matter how small.

This is AJ.
When I started my weight loss journey, I was 270lb. I was a fat piece of shit.
I lost 80lb in 5 month, and that brought me down to 190lb.

I still see myself as a pile of garbage.
I want to go to BMT looking like @therock . I want people to see me and say "that man is a beast"
But...
I was told NOT to focus on getting big because it's not going to help me.
I was told to focus on getting fit. That's why I'm looking up to @richfroning . The man is in top shape. His performance at the crossfit games are insane. Plus his a man of God, respect!

Im going to boot camp in March 2020. That's less than 80 days
My current weight is 230lb. I let myself go after I sign my military contract. I need to lose 50lb. That would put me at 180lb.
So, that's what I'm going to do!
Don't let your weight be the reason for not being able to qualify for the military.
Get a paper and build a plan.Get up and go to the gym. Get up and go run. Put down the junk food and start eating clean.

If I can do it, you can do it.
I was 270lb. I went down to 190lb. Was it easy? NO! It was not easy. It's not going to be easy, but It's going to be worth it. This is your future.

Went to a Christmas party last night and I dont like to deprive but also need to avoid foods that inflame my stomach. There’s such a fine line for my mental health in depriving when the foods I love also cause a lot of discomfort and ruin the rest of my night Bc your clothes start to not fit and it’s painful to stand and your head starts to hurt. Just need to better prepare myself and create dishes that I can eat without growing a few inches. They don’t have to be hEAltHy just better ingredients so I don’t look like 🤰🏼take care of your body luvs💖 be kind to it. So this morning I still woke up feeling lil groggy and I made myself a nutrient packed high healthy fat meal🥰 these meals make me feel amazing. It’s just two eggs, kale (slightly steamed Bc easier to digest) and smoked salmon with my nutritional yeast Bc obsessed 🤩 have an amazing Sunday and relaxxxxx

I have SUPER tight shoulder muscles so I love doing this whole shoulder routine from #6weeksofthework .
Stretching is SO important for our bodies. When we stretch it keeps our muscles loose and lumber with much less chance of causing injury and honestly, it just feels freakin amazing😊❤️

An integral part ... not just training, but life, will change drastically, but will remain the same :) What does this mean?
This means that the second part of the training will be 5 + 1 major movements: Squat, Snatch, Deadlift, Clean and Jerk, Press + Beach-only...Bench. It will remain in such volume and intensity that the layman will say, "Jesus, you are strong," and the athlete: "You are raising like young cadet woman" 😕. I want to be healthy and keep my body safe from injury while still being functional for life. 2 exercises per workout.
Squat will stay at 120 - 130 max, Deadlift at 150 - 160, Snatch, 60-70, C&J at 100 - 110, Military at 80 - 90, Bench at 100 - 110. (kg, not lbs) If more, great, but irrelevant.
(I have 90 kg right now, the goal is at 85, so at 80 if that is ok). In this regard, the third part of the training is crossfit domain movements (because I adore Crossfit), which means: as many different movements as possible, HIIT training - couplet or triplet or more. From disgusting 5-7 min full speed to chippers from 20-40 min. My goal is not to be as strong as possible. I want to be fit. What I will do intensely beside 5 + 1 are the pull ups because I have friends who tease me every year I want to defeat them in 2020 in Novalja finally! 💪

And the first part of the training will always be ... rowing. Rowing is EPIC and even though a friend of mine does not know it, my goal is to beat him even though I doubt it because he has rower at home and he is brutal (which, when I raise enough money, becomes an important part of my home soon) 😎 You know who you are, be careful

At each workout, it will strengthen my feet for trails in all possible ways.
And that's it ... the gym will be 2-3 times a week, an hour, an hour and a half. If it's once or 4 times ... again, anyway.

One thing I’ve learned about myself is that I can’t force anything that doesn’t come naturally. That gut instinct has helped me make so many decisions in my life without me realizing it. Now, it’s become a guiding force. I’ve always been soo hard on myself. I’m naturally an overthinker and my toughest critic bundled into one. Once I accepted that my work is better, my mood is enhanced and I’m more inspired when I just follow my natural rhythm, I kept to it.

🤓👍🏼 Igual que el año pasado os iré mostrando la realidad de mi volumen, ya os dije que ya me iba viendo más tapado, y es algo evidente en esta foto, si comparo respecto al punto más bajo de la definición hay uno 4,5 kgs de diferencia: Una parte es glucógeno, otra parte es masa muscular, pero también he ganado algunos gramos de panceta 🐷 lo esperable. Voy por buen camino y lo importante es que la circunferencia del brazo ya ha subido algún cm 🥺

🤟🏼🔥Voy a tratar de mantener un par de mesociclos seguidos un enfoque de especialización en brazos a ver si siguen respondiendo igual de bien al volumen de entrenamiento. Eso sí, si queréis plantear algo similar en vuestro caso, tened en cuenta que generalmente el tríceps va a soportar bastante menos trabajo que el bíceps, pero por su volumen (cm3) va a ser fundamental trabajarlo si queremos brazos rocosos. Además ambos van a recibir algo de trabajo en ciertos empujes y tracciones, (por lo que hay que tenerlo en cuenta en la selección de ejercicios que hagamos para espalda, hombro y pectoral entre otros) 🧠 .
🔴 Especializar significa aumentar volumen y/o frecuencia de entrenamiento en un grupo respecto a sí mismo, no subir a lo loco hasta que revientes, de hecho aproximadamente le meto la mitad de series al tríceps que al bíceps, y menos que a otros grupos musculares que no estoy “especializando”...
